When it comes time to sell a dirt bike, chances are you'll be dealing with the general public, as doing so is a very popular way of selling a used motorcycle and generally nets you more dollars in your pocket than trading it in at a motorcycle dealership but before you even advertise a motorcycle, there are some things which we'll go over so you'll be enlightened and able to avoid any bullshitters, scammers or thieves while being able to command the highest dollar for the bike being sold.
While there are a lot of good people, the unfortunate fact of the matter is there ARE indeed real, normal looking low life's that blend in among the good that'll show up to your house dressed in moto regalia, yet are deliberately, intentionally and willfully looking for someone to either low ball at best, or plain outright steal from at a later date AFTER TEST RIDING YOUR BIKE and we're gonna help make sure that someone's not you by providing you some insight and red flags to keep an eye out for before they ever even know your address or where the bike is located.
