The Grand Prix of Motocross (or FIM Motocross World Championship) is the premier international motocross championship series and although most of the rounds are predominantly held on European soil, the series does travel globally which over the history of the FIM Motocross World Championship, this has sent the premier MXGP & MX2 classes through beautiful settings in countries including; Indonesia, Australia and countries on both American continents.
The FIM Motocross World Championship consists of two primary classes: MXGP (formerly MX1) and MX2 (These are analogous to the American Motorcycle Association's 450cc, & 250cc classes respectively). Additionally, an FIM sanctioned race day consists of two moto's with a duration of 35 minutes, plus two laps for each moto, and the 2021 MXGP FIM Motocross series is travelling to 18 rounds on world class beautiful motocross tracks.
